The Greater Grayson Chamber, The Snellville Commerce Club, and The
Gwinnett Chamber Partner for Operation Love From Home Holiday Card
Drive! One of GGCC's closest Commerce partners, the Snellville Commerce Club, communicated the Operation Love from Home project to their membership last week for a rally at today's bi-monthly meeting. As a result, we collected 12 boxes of donated cards for the drive. A million thanks to Flag Star Bank, Walton EMC, Volt Staffing, S.E. Commercial Real Estate and Carlson Travel for the boxed card contributions.Wal Mart of Snellville has pledged a case of cards and has offered their store location to us for as many card signing exhibits that we would like to host there during the month of November! GGCC will call in our Explorer Post Team to facilitate some of these card signings. GGCC will also coordinate some additional signings in the Loganville area which will be announced soon. Now on to the Postage Angels.....who contributed and pledged the total postage expense!Sincerest gratitude to Donna Willard of E-Women Network for kicking off the postage fundraiser with a $20 contributions! Impact Media and S.E. Commercial Real Estate donated $10.00 and my dear friend, Jackie Ginn, of the Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce pledged the difference of what we don't raise for the postage.Today's card drive rally is another fine example of team work through commerce! Where local businesses and area commerce organizations unite as a team for the benefit of a community project! Many, many thanks to my dear friends that comprise Snellville Commerce Club's Leadership, Jimmy Norton, Joan Miller and Barbara Bender. Your support of GGCC has been extrodinary and is greatly appreciated by our staff and our board of directors. And thanks to the Snellville Commerce Club membership for all your contributions to the drive today! We'll see you next month for the Toys-for-Tots Rally!Sincerely,Michelle Couch, President & CEOGtr.
