Preparing for The Feast!

Yep, here I am, trying to get as much stuff done for tomorrow (Thanksgiving) as humanly possible (so that tomorrow, in theory, I won't have "that much" to do). Menu for tomorrow:

  • Bannan-nut bread
  • Pecan Pies
  • Yellow cake with chocolate icing and fall-leaf-shaped sprinkles
  • Deviled eggs
  • Roasted Pecans (old Southern snack- sugar-coated and roasted...yum)
  • Sweet Potato casserole, with marshmallows on top, of course
  • Green bean casserole
  • Corn on the cob
  • Turkey
  • Salad
  • Homemade Dinner rolls
  • Mashed potatoes (from scratch of course)
  • Turkey

So far, I completely screwed up the bannana bread, so that's out. Darn it. However, the first of two pecan pies looks pretty darn good. Hopefully, the next one turns out just as well. The roasted pecans are almost done, too. Then I can get to making the dough for the dinner rolls, and after the last pie is done, can put the cake into the oven. :)

Oops, there goes the timer... back in a while.
