STUPID POST OFFICE...STUPID WATER COMPANY...GRRRR

So... on January 8th - which, by the way, is over three weeks ag0 - we mailed a check to the Water Company to pay our (outrageous) water bill.

So... yesterday, come home to find... NO WATER.

Nope.

Nada.

Zip.

Zero.

ZILCH!

Water meter locked up tight.

ACK!

Hubby checked the bank website.. our check to the water company was never cashed.

They say they never got it.

They have a "no-mercy" policy - miss the due date, and bam! You are disconnected with no warning.

And have to pay an awfully large "reconnect" fee, too, of course.

So... four kids, two adults, two dogs, and NO water.

Ack.

Grrrr......
